I was unable to post my blog for Day 18 as was out of town and decided not to think too much about trading or contest performance, instead had a nice and relaxing weekend with the family. After winning and losing hundreds of trades, I can say one thing for sure that no profitable trade can give you the same satisfaction or happiness than the quality time spend with your family.
Just had a look at current standings and the race to top 10 looks pretty tight with just 10 trading days to go. While the position for # 1 by only_number_one (as the nickname suggest) looks pretty safe, I am expecting very tough competition for 2nd and 3rd position and even a single point lead would be vital in such a tight race.
I am currently sitting at 36th position and my target for this month is getting in Top 10 and if possible in Top 6. So far I have been able to maintain my discipline and concentrate on my own trading with good risk management rather than being distracted by other traders performance and trying to match their performance by taking higher risk. This mentality have certainly helped me this month to produce good results and I will try my level best to finish the month with similar attitude.
