Monday
The week starts with a meeting of the Eurogroup. Eurozone finance ministers meet to discuss the future of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) and Portugal's economic adjustment program. Yves Mersch and Sabine Lautenschlaeger, members of the European Central Bank, speak earlier in the week at different events.

Tuesday
The annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank is another of the events that marks the week. The leaders of both institutions, Christine Lagarde and Jim Yong Kim, Mario Draghi and other representatives of the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve participate in forums of the event that runs until Friday in Washington. Issues such as monetary policy and economic growth mark the meeting.

Wednesday
The US Federal Reserve releases the minutes for the September meeting. The document should contain some indications of a further increase in interest rates in the country, after the entity announced that it will begin to reduce the reinvestment of assets as of this month.

Thursday
There are several US banks that report their results for the third quarter of the year. JPMorgan and Citigroup reported on Thursday, while Bank of America and Wells Fargo report results a day later.

Friday
