German consumer confidence is at the highest level since October 2007. Although consumer optimism when it comes to economic developments in general is not that high consumers do not appear to consider their own economic situation to be at riskas the labor market is stable and the income are rising.

But we are expecting a flat reading so this should not add much to the overall euro negative sentiment, only a high reading should be seen as positive for the market

German employment is stable and constant, if we look at past few years data. Also we have seen slight change in last 3 months, but also last month, there was a high drop from 13K to 4K. But my expectation is, it will stay below 5K level. Also, looking at previous Consumer Confidence report, we can expect better report from last month in Unemployment change. Therefore, I am going with bullish move.

German Economy is now facing little hard time, and as Dollars gets stronger Euro is loosing its value against USD. However, I think today consumer confidence is not going to be as good as expected and but Euro stays at its support, so expect a bullish move after news release.
