As I used to say, if heart is warm you will break any ice!
I would like to mention that I have participated in some international events, one of them was even in Switzerland (Montreux), so I have some experience on such events and my opinion on that question is very simple. First of all, as you could noticed from my blogs, for me the most important things are internal . And I think, it is true! For example, some people can wear the most expensive clothes, jewelry etc. but he or she will never have success, if he/she have not pretty soul and is arrogant. Be simpler and people will move to you . ( in Russian: Будь проще и люди потянутся к тебе).
Firstly we must to have pretty soul, nice intentions, shining with a goodness and then the other will always notice that and success will come. Like a magnet attract iron, person shining with a goodness will attract others.
External appearance ( clothes, accessories etc.) is itself understanding things. Person participating in business events must to look excellent. I mean excellent - it is a classical style of clothing, beautiful, luxurious, but not vulgar or provocative. Personally me prefer simplicity style - classical beautiful style without any unnecessary details. It is most important to choose such clothes which will fit and person will feel good and comfortable. One more important thing is to trust yourself. It don't depend on your appearance. It depend on harmony inside you. And again, as I say, if we put not delicious sweet in beautiful cover, it will not be more delicious!
Another ones important things are good intentions, attention to others and tolerance. When someone have good intentions, sooner or later he/she will be noticed. Attention to others is very important thing to all of us. Tolerance is also important because we all have our own lives and we don't have any right to interrupt to others lives and judge about them. Openness and simplicity will also play very important role in communicating with people and making business contacts. All these I've mentioned must come from you naturally and without any artificiality. Smart people will recognize it very quickly.
One more important thing is education. I haven't in mind diplomas, degrees etc. I mean internal education, and it don't depend on diplomas and degrees people have. What is the difference between educated and not educated person? Educated persons always think that they know not enough, and not educated persons always think that they know everything. So educated persons will be always tactful and will never put himself/herself above others.
Other very important thing is ability to listen. For every of us is very important when somebody is really interested in what we say. Real attitude to another person will help to build further relations.
If to talk about me, I'm such kind of woman, who is sociable and all skills and features I've mentioned above, I have inside me and its coming from me naturally. That's why, it is easy for me to make any business contacts and relations with various people.
