Forget France, Italy , Spain, Portugal. It turns out, the real birthplace of wine may be in a cave in Armenia.

The world’s oldest winery was discovered in one of the caves in Armenia. This is believed by many archaeologists to be the source of the world's first cultivated grapevines and neolithic wine production , over 6000 years ago. Although not a large player in the world of wine today, Armenian wine played an important role in the history of wine.

During all this time we never stopped making wine. Armenian grades of grapes adjoining to the surface of the barrels from the Armenian oak, give rise to unique bouquet. As lover of white dry wine , I will suggest to try the wine from Kangun grapes, which transfer the taste of our sunny and hospitable country
