"Hi,

. He exposed the NSA spying programs and has been condemned by President Obama. He's just a man who wanted to do good by the American public. His life is in limbo now with temporary asylum in Russia and he's looking for something permanent. Let's make sure that happens — the best way to help him -- tell the world we're thankful for what he did.

Here’s an easy way to say “Thanks!” and make it count! Make a “Thank You” card for Snowden and send it to us, or take a picture of yourself holding a sign with a “Thank You” message for him. Just reply to this message and attach your image or post it on social media and send us a link. We’ll be compiling these “Thank You” images on a page that we’ll send to Edward Snowden via his attorney and display for the world (and President Obama) to see.

Opinion polls show
that even Americans overwhelmingly support Mr. Snowden and see him as a whistleblower, not a traitor. Let’s add faces to that statistic and show the governments of the world that Internet users demand transparency, democracy, and basic rights -- and we will support whistleblowers that expose illegal and unjust government programs that undermine our freedom.

Say “Thank You” to Edward Snowden -- by expressing our thanks for his bravery, we will pressure the U.S. government to focus on dealing with the NSA’s violation of our rights and leave Mr. Snowden alone.

We’re entering a new era in the fight for the future of the Internet, and thanks to the Edward Snowdens of the world, our ranks only continue to grow as more and more people become educated about the threats and the ways we can make change.

Big things are in the works. More soon.
