Hello, dear readers! Long time no see!
Today, I will tell you how important it is to bring the happiness to this world. There are so many deaths, disasters and killings around the world and it's always important to give somebody a smile, a hug, a kiss.. to make this world a little bit better.
For me, personally, it's crucial to give blood to people. I have been donating blood since 2014 and I am doing it every year in the middle of autumn. How I found out about this? I will explain you. It was just an ordinary day at my uni in Geneva, I was walking back home after class and one guy came up to me and asked me if I want to donate blood. I was not interested at first, but then he started to explain the matter in more details and I became curious. He told me that workers from HUG (Hopitaux Universitaires de Geneve) are coming soon to make the test on the person's level of haemoglobin and then take the blood in one of the classes of University. "Why not to try it?", - I said to myself and registered for the test.
It was autumn 2015 - my first time as a donor. I was scared, so my boyfriend and my best friend came to support me during the process. I was more than thankful to them, because after the donation I felt week and slept all day. But it was definitely worth it! I am helping somebody who needs blood, aren't I?
The second time, I decided that I am going to come straight to the hospital (HUG). The seats are more comfortable and the atmosphere is more relaxed. These factors affect your general state of mind, even if you don't realise it. Everything went perfect that time, I felt good and even drove back home after sipping one glass of wine.
I wanted to thank my parents for giving me such strong health, because giving 500 ml of blood is not for everybody. I am happy to help people that way and I think everybody in our society needs to give something valuable from the bottom of their heart in order to make this world a better place! Even a smile to a stranger can change the stranger's day and yours too! Try to smile during the bad day, you will see how your mood will change!
