I've taken a short position in USDSEK and USDNOK in the contest.
I was watching both of these pairs for a few weeks, and based on my analysis, there is a top in place.
The thing that is now making me doubtful, is the decision to short them in the contest. I like the trade because from these levels the risk to reward is excellent. But I'm looking at the daily chart, looking to break to new lows. I had not realized how long this could take and I'm starting to doubt my decision on this trade as it has not moved much already in the last few days.
I'm taking a considerable drawdown on the pairs at the moment as well, otherwise I would probably close them as they are a better trade for the personal account.
I'll have to see how the week closes. If the margin permits, I may hold them, not too sure at this moment yet. I'm hoping some event risk in the week will trigger volatility.
I had actually written a blog post at the beginning of the week that I expected low vols in the USD this week as well. Hoping in this case that I was wrong.
