In trading, as in life, we are constantly given the chance to evaluate information and make decisions from it.
We never know whether our decisions are correct or not until after we've made a decision.
Sometimes, we make the right decisions and we live with fruitful results and profits; and other times, we make the wrong decisions and we have to live with attempting to correct our decisions and take our losses.
The truth is a fact. You might not agree with it, but it is what it is. You cannot change it, you cannot hide it and you certainly cannot trade in the opposite direction of the truth.
I like that about trading in the truth. It gives me the opportunity to evaluate my decision making processes and teaches me that it is o.k. to be wrong sometimes.
That's how it is in life too. Sometimes we do our best to evaluate the facts presented to us in the best possible way, just to find out that we were wrong.
Sometimes however, we are right and then we bask in the glory of the truth.
So, the question is: Are you in denial about the truth or will you face truth and gain wisdom?
