Yesterday I told you about my Strategy for this month and how I tend to trade
... to finish my story that I was telling you yesterday:
After the Draghi speech and the (unexpected) decision to easy more in the EU, the Euro shot up:
I was prepared for this because I had already positioned myself in the right direction
and had set buy stops in other crosses on the way up -- I made 300K on the move - quadrupling my money.
Of course, you need to be lucky too: I almost got stopped out just before the decision
and I was lucky there was not too much movement - up and down - before the decision
Usually there is, especially if traders are not sure of the direction, so luck played a part here
So, three days into the contest I was positioned in the top 10,
and then came the task of defending my position, making the right trades, and managing my risk carefully
I am doing fine up to now - so, fingers crossed - this should be my first big win after three years of participation
