In last few months forex market volatility have been relatively low compare to last year. While we all love high volatility markets, but the fact is that these low volatility gives you a time to do other things. Improve your game both mental and technical. As such I did lot of testing last month on different markets, some back testing, some risk management work etc. and picked up lots of nuggets which I think will improve my game in future. As a trader we have to constantly improve our trading skills to keep up with daily market rhythm.

While back testing one of the main thing I was focusing on was to increase my win/loss ratio by analyzing each trade to see just what, if anything, I might have done differently that could have avoided the loss. I ask myself, was my losing trade entered too fast, exited too slow, against the trend, out of boredom, just prior to major news , extreme leverage, out of revenge, and so on.....
