Although initially promised for August, the amendments to the rules have entered into force only with the start of the September contest.
With 1181 contestants August has set a participation record of the competition that has been running since December 10'.
The prominent trait of the months' final standings appeared to be the fact that we observe a considerable share of traders with a relatively long track record in the contest for whom this has been the 1st time in the top-10. A good proof that efforts put in one's improvement, commitment to following recommendations and respecting the trading limitations of the contest tend to pay off over time. Simultaneously, we are impressed to see traders with only a few month-long history of participation having stricken a prize position in the top-10 or top-20.
Continuous participation in the contest has now become even more feasible since traders have the opportunity to receive 100 USD bonuses for finishing on positions 11th-20th and get eligible for a Live account opening once having accumulated 500 USD.
We hope that the recent rules' amendments, such as the decrease of Dukascopy points weight, its reinforcement with a 5th parameter (Win/Loss) and the introduction of a min. lot restriction will be appreciated by the participants easing tensions around the evaluation system.
Finally, we remind that the newest contest offered to FX Community participants - the FX Article contest, is running its second month and everyone is welcome not only to check the existing materials, but also to take part in the competition and share their Forex-related ideas in a pursuit for valuable prizes.
