I was just wondering how much slippage people suffer trading with dukascopy. I realize it is a very general question, but any comments on this topic will be appreciated

Hello everyone,

i am a new trader, and right now after months of preparation and demo practice i am waiting for my live account to open so i can give it a go for real. while i am waiting, one thing is worrying me: i feel my trading career hinges on one thing: how much slippage i will suffer when i go live as opposed to demo.

in your experience, has slippage been a big problem?

thank u in advance:)

Hello,

I'm still new too, so what's the range for slippage per trade?

Thanks in advance,

Slippage shouldn't borther you much. It can be managed effectively in these three ways:
1. By using limit orders for your trade entry
2. Entry only when you see small undersize candle body
3. (Advance Trader) Enter long when bearish candle is forming, enter short when bullish candle forming.
