In Japan, Tokyo is the capital and the most important place to keep, in order to measure the economic climate. I think that The Tokyo Core Consumer Price Index (CPI) is a useful indicator which help us to measure the change in the price of goods and services purchased by several consumers in the capital. But actually, we do not count fresh food! It has to be excluded from the list. A lot of experts and forecasters are expecting to see 0.7% with a bearish impact. Let us see if it is true. Now a lower than expected reading should be taken as negative/bearish for the JPY.
