On realizing that there is little chance of fulfilling my dream which would cost a few million dollars and therefore be ineligible for the prize, I am still going ahead and uploading it to share this dream with the rest of you. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed actually writing it down.

This is a story about X, who was a relative of mine, who lived in the last century. X had been unfortunate to fall in love and marry a girl from a humble background rather than marry a girl of his fathers choice as was the custom here back then. His father was enraged to the extent that he had disinherited X and the rest of the family had disowned X rather than bear the brunt of his fathers wrath.

X's father was an eminent man and had actually used his influence to have X removed from his job.
No one in town would give X a job, no one except Nawab Saab.

Nawab Saab was a stranger who had arrived a few years ago and had built a palatial mansion near the wooded forest on the outskirts of town. He had his own guards who followed him where ever he went and he feared nothing and no one.

Nawab Saab was a kind and generous man and X was satisfied with his job which allowed him to keep his wife and child in relative comfort.

But things weren't to be that way for long as Nawab Saab called all his employee to gather one evening after work as he had some important news to share with them

“I shall be leaving and your services shall no longer be required” Nawab Saab had told them “but I have something for you before I leave.”

He then ordered his guards to unlock one of the rooms that had always been kept shut.

It was filled with gold from the floor to the ceiling.

“Take as much as you can carry and go” Nawab Saab had instructed them “but do not return for more if you value your life.”

Those assembled made a mad dash to grab as much gold
