Wanton Speculation for Next Week
Slightly bullish on US stocks in the form of the Dow Jones Industrial Average,S&P 500 and NASDAQ. I’m anticipating mostly sideways action and for the bulls to give bears little room. I wouldn’t count out the Dow Jones hitting $19,000. I’m anticipating the English FTSE 100 might perform next week. I anticipate the Japanese Nikkei 225 bulls will have trouble staying in control. I think AAPL (Apple Inc.) and MCD (McDonalds Corporations) are tremendous buys if bulls take control Monday morning. CMG …
Trump Victory Market Effect And How To Play It
I had mentioned a good play on the election was buy 1 week out of money gold binary options and sell out of money NASDAQ 100 1 week. It paid off. Now that Trump won I think the play is short the USDMXN, buy XAUUSD, GBPUSD and Natural Gas.* * McDonalds performed very well during the past few days rising from $112 to $114. I consider this a strong bullish signal although I think a pullback to $113 is likely before a breakout is established above $118.* Wendy's quarterly sales beat estimates while …
Weekend Currency and Index Review Gold too
* The Great British Pound moved up solidly through last week and closed the week at 1 month highs. I'm still bullish on the GBP due to the "cheap" price and anticipate international sentiments resulting from a Trump or Hillary victory will affect the GBP favourably. * The US Dollar experienced a deep pullback last week from just under 6 month highs to prices not seen since early October '16. At these prices I'm not bearish, but with no bullish reversal signal in sight yet I'm not bullish either.…
Commodities, Indices, Forex, Stock Market Brief 11/03/16
jokerillmoney.tumblr.com
* FB (Facebook) reported $1.09 earnings per share for Q3 with monthly users up 16% year-over-year. Personally I think it's a fat piggy that's going out of style, the stock closed at $127.17, down 1.8% for the day. EPS is still under 5% and I speculate they will begin losing market share globally 5+ years into the future. This speculation concurs with Wall Street Journals article title "Facebook Profit Soars, but Growth Concerns Emerge". * APPL (Apple Inc) to release new …

11/1 Daily Highlights
* APPL (Apple Inc.) - day one of the blog on 10/21/16 I included that the "chart appears to be signalling downside, anticipate a move towards $110." I wrote that very near the latest highs on 4 days later at $118.25, the stock closed today under $111.50. I think it might rebound from here but with elections around the corner Wall Street might stay suppressed so my stance is neutral at the moment. I do love to gloat, my AAPL speculation was pretty on point. There were some good puts to be based o…
Weekend Review - Currencies and Indices
* The US Dollar slid down about 0.5% into this weeks end after spending the week at 6-month highs. The Buck appears to be gearing up to pullback around 1% before testing resistance so my stance is bearish with a 1-3 week outlook. * The Great British Pound traded in a tight range compared to the average since Brexit. Sterling started last week off plunging to annual lows and accumulated through the rest of the week. I'm bullish on the Pound with a very long-term outlook but I wouldn't doubt the b…
Macro-Market Brief 10/26
* Wall Street had a slightly erratic day opening down, springing up and then unwinding. Currently the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 0.3% while the NASDAQ is down 0.55%. * AAPL (Apple Inc.) is down more than 2.5% after opening down from above $118 at yesterdays close to under $114 at the opening this morning. Even so, its' uptrend is still holding up although weak trading tomorrow could break the trend which would be a sign that the NASDAQ might capitulate through this months range. My bias …
