Is the sell off in USDSEK showing the path?

The USDNOK is very closely correlated to the US Dollar index and can often show us the way. There are some cases of course where we get some divergence, particularly when NOK or SEK fundamentals are in play. But take a look at the following charts.

As you can see both pairs sold off aggressively. A probable reasoning is the recent misinterpretation of the FED statement as being more hawkish than it was by media.

Market, Please move

I've had to resort to asking the markets to move through my blog. It is has that kind of a week so far for me. I anxiously got into two USD short positions, and they have done absolutely nothing.
My entry wasn't too great either so both positions have been moving from around -15K to -20K all week.

Shorting USD in the contest account

I've taken a short position in USDSEK and USDNOK in the contest.
I was watching both of these pairs for a few weeks, and based on my analysis, there is a top in place.
The thing that is now making me doubtful, is the decision to short them in the contest. I like the trade because from these levels the risk to reward is excellent. Trade setups - AUDJPY, USDSEK

I've been looking at the AUDJPY & USDSEK for some possible entries all week. Seems like the last 24 hours was very volatile and is offering many decent setups. I like these ones because there is already a clear trend.

GBPNZD Stopped out

I've taken my first trade on the contest and was stopped out.
I took a long position in the GBPNZD with 3 Mil units. The order was at the 50% level of the recent move up. I was anticipating GBP strength as the GBPUSD has recently broken to new highs and news on the docket.
My order was at 1.9410 with stops at 1.9370. My take profit was set for 1.95 however, I probably would have moved that up. I'm expecting price to break to new highs if these levels hold. As you can see from the chart belo…
