Looking for some continued Dollar weakness

USDNOK has declined after some major risk events this week. The chart below shows three daily candles to the downside
The Daily chart shows some major support coming in at 7.83. If that level breaks there is a larger support area around 7.50
Fundamentals in the US may have shifted a bit in the last few FED meetings as there has been more areas of concern and a general tone that is more dovish than previous.

Is the sell off in USDSEK showing the path?

The USDNOK is very closely correlated to the US Dollar index and can often show us the way. There are some cases of course where we get some divergence, particularly when NOK or SEK fundamentals are in play. But take a look at the following charts.

USDSEK - HOURLY

As you can see both pairs sold off aggressively. A probable reasoning is the recent misinterpretation of the FED statement as being more hawkish than it was by media.

Back to selling the Dollar

I've taken some bearish USD positions once again.
A few weeks back, I got burned on these exact sentiments, but once again my analysis shows that there should be pull back in trend on many pairs like the GBPUSD, EURUSD, and USDNOK.

I'll Buy the Dip

With the USD as strong as it has been over the last several weeks, it will be interesting to watch and see what happens next.
The US Dollar bulls have done well, but are they anxious to get back into their positions or add to their positions after the sell off last Friday?
My general expectations have been for a deep pull back before the a continuation. Looking at charts like the EURUSD, there is certainly room for much further downside. Yet I feel we may see a larger pull back at this stage now…

Market, Please move

I've had to resort to asking the markets to move through my blog. It is has that kind of a week so far for me. I anxiously got into two USD short positions, and they have done absolutely nothing.
My entry wasn't too great either so both positions have been moving from around -15K to -20K all week.

Shorting USD in the contest account

I've taken a short position in USDSEK and USDNOK in the contest.
I was watching both of these pairs for a few weeks, and based on my analysis, there is a top in place.

GBPNZD Stopped out

I've taken my first trade on the contest and was stopped out.
I took a long position in the GBPNZD with 3 Mil units. The order was at the 50% level of the recent move up. I was anticipating GBP strength as the GBPUSD has recently broken to new highs and news on the docket.
My order was at 1.9410 with stops at 1.9370. My take profit was set for 1.95 however, I probably would have moved that up. I'm expecting price to break to new highs if these levels hold. As you can see from the chart belo…
