USD longs looking better now

My Usd longs are looking much better today
Stronger economic figures today for US make USD the strongest currency
It seems to be finally sinking in that Usd should be the strongest currency
because US is the first/only country to raise rates tomorrow
I wil be looking to close my positions though, with a healthy profit
before the release tomorrow - you never know if it is already priced in

Some trouble trading USD longs

I had some trouble with Usd longs yesterday
UsdJpy was stuck around 108.50 all day, after I was long there
UsdChf went down while I was long
and UsdCad did not move much too
I also had longs EurJpy, and GbpJpy, and these did do alright luckily
I lost 10k yesterday and could not strengthen my position in the contest
I am a bit at a loss now for positioning
I will have to wait for a new plan, because I know what happens if I try to force the issue

Long UsdJpy paying off well

My UsdJpy long is doing well already
As I wrote about yesterday - Usd looks fundamentally very strong
I decided to go long at market open - and went long UsdJpy, UsdChf and Usd Cad
I decided to close UsdCad after it failed to brake 1.30 just now - a profit of about 25 pips
UsdJpy was the best trade and landed me 120 pips and 50K profit
My UsdChf is down about 35 pips and I have added a tight SL just below 0.97 now

USD/JPY back up again after slight retracement

It is hard to find a good position to buy the Yen
Last night I sold Gbp/Jpy and was up 37K at one point,
but as soon as the Asian session was over everyone got to bying the Usd and selling the Yen
I am down about 40K now after being stopped out on Gbp/Jpy, and Eur/Jpy shorts
To make use of my equity and leverage I am starting to sell the minors against the Yen now
like Aud/Jpy, Hkd/Jpy, and Nzd/Jpy
I still believe this run should be over soon and we will see some retracement down

Last week was an exciting start to the contest for me
I gained around 50K selling the Yen against several currencies and tried for more at the end of the week,
data release of the NFP was bad for the Usd though - and the low figure cost me 50K,

and finally there are some big moves up in Usd/Jpy - these were bound to happen,
but did not materialize until Eur and Gbp where down in the dog-house,
