Previously
on 2Jan
Long Term: On USD/CAD monthly chart, we have a double bottom possibility with huge bullish divergence. After that, it seems that we have a base zone, a long-term area with top at 1.0450-1.0660. At the moment price is trying to clearly break up 1.0660 level.
Medium-Term: In uptrend. since the high at 1.0735 we are in a correction. At the moment we are closer by trend TL which may hold the price.

Think we are already in a long-term uptrend. atm must monitor the medium-term uptrend which is correcting while price is trying to breakout the resistence 1,0660. No problem as long as the price remains above 1,058.
Must go with the flow, took a long position to purchase this correction.

+1 Liked: Nice analysis! IMHO perhaps we'll see continuous USD weakness after NFP for some time now. Maybe a break below 1.0240 support and up trend line. Happy trading today :-)

UPDATE: I think USD/CAD is confirming the thesis that I presented in the last update, which stated that the pair had possibly made a spyke below 1,0240. Now we can continue the upward movement.
