Almost wiped my profit out

Well, Trump was right, that was Brexit times ten at least. Any stop loss had not much sense yesterday night. I feel I might be not in game on demo contest for this month, as my positions were wiped out almost erasing previous profits. Although my predictions were right - USD soared after the election, no matter who won.
I think ZAR and AUD are now best currencies to invest in as safe haven currencies are going less popular, yet price of gold goes up constantly.
We can say it was an extreme trip …

So it is pretty simple. Careful trades before 8 Nov. Then afterwards risk-on returns to my trading. I think that mere overreaction to the election uncertainity will make great occassions for trades. Also US hike will likely be the topic near the end of november.

As it is Trump- Clinton related lately and market tends to go erratic with overreactions it is a great occassion to go sell after the elections - whoever wins. Also, if Trump gets ahead a BUY is an option before…

Day off the trade

On wednesday I decided to take a day-off the trade due to nonsense volatility on many pairs. All my profitable positions gave profit only because they were closed by hand. My stops were too often hit on volatility spikes& I think it is a good tactics to just leave it alone sometimes. Trying for a comeback today as today I also have time to look after my positions - Wednesday was a busy day anyway for me.
I wonder - did anyone make profit yesterday just by leaving position with SL and TP fixed? …

ZAR fundamentals

Not much important data for ZAR coming this week mean it will mainly be driven by mining commodities prices - especially gold and silver- and the outstanding prime rate of 10.5%. Both of those (gold and silver, though rates are suprisingly also in bullish trend) are in strongly bullish trend giving a strong support for ZAR appreciation. Some weakness in EURO also helps ZAR a little.

Everyone already knows about GBP becoming a risky currency right now. What became not that obvious is how EURUSD follows USDJPY moves:
Without any extra sketching we can see EUR depreciation against USD comes with JPY strenghtening. If we look further to the past the correlation started from right about Brexit.
