May'17 Summary

So May 2017 is over. I'm quite satisfied with the progress. Despite the fact I was sick few days and had an accident yesterday I managed to run ~180 km, so my running total in 2017 is 825 km so far (see below screenshot from my Endomondo).
I've got run 120 km with my new Salomon and I'm quite satisfied with them. They are a bit more heavy than Nike I was running with before, but Salomons are much more stable and robust in terrain/off road conditions.

Accident

Today I had a little accident when I run downhill on the forest trail. It looked horrible at first sight, quite much blood, but fortunately I managed to fall "safely" suffering just flesh wounds

3rd & 4th week in May

I was sick last week, so not many kilometers run, just 33 km. I've tried this week to push km amount a bit further by 47 km towards 2k@2017.
On May's beginning I was thinking I could try to make 200 km in May, but the sickness thwarted my plans, though there are 3 more days.

2nd week of May progress towards 2K

Another week is over. I run ~48.2 km this week, which is slightly below my goal of 50 km for this week. Anyway I'm satisfied with the progress.
I had destroyed my Nike Air Zoom Terra Kiger 3 boots. I was thinking they last at least 1K however they "died" on ~800km.
So now I run in new Salomon Wings Pro 2. So far they seem to be much better for trails than Nike. More robust and stable in the terrain.

1st week of May - progress towards 2000 km

Hi greetings marathoners,
I run ~35 km this week, which is not bad hovewer my personal weekly goal is 40 km, so I'll have to try run more in the next week.
So my current sum distance in 2017 is total of ~685km which is effectively 34% of the 2K goal!
