The last few days have been killing me
I have been staring at the screen hours on end - in disbelief
My back hurts, I have a hangover from drinking too much - I am a wreck
These are not my favorite trading days - something to change in the future, I guess
I can not believe the price action in Nzd - it is up and then more up
Do these people not know that a rate cut is coming?
Anyway, the laugh is on me - I thought that I was doing great this month,
but this goes to show that you never know

A rate cut by the RNZB looks likely on Wednesday evening
After the RBA rate cut last week, it is likely that New Zealand will follow
Interest rates are at 2,25% and will probably get lowered to 2%
Nzd is quite low against the Usd already - and a rate cut for Aud did not hurt it too much
I guess I will be building up shorts towards the decision,
because with all that is going on in the world the chance of a rate cut is very high

It seems that nobody knows what RBA will do, but themselves
I have been following news and reviews on a possible rate cut by the bank of Australia,
the decision is in about 4 hours
Traders and economists, and banks alike seem perfectly devidided in their forecasts
What does this tell me - - I guess to follow the price action
I am short Aud, as I said yesterday, and I am making some money there,
so it seems to me - the rate cut believers are slightly in control

I have made up my mind about the Australian dollar
With a little more than 24 hours to go before the RBA decision of a rate cut or not,
I have started shorting everything Aud,
long Gbp/Aud and Eur/Aud, short Aud/Usd, Aud/Jpy, and Aud/Nzd
The way I see it is this:
there will be a lot of anticipation of a potential rate cut building up,
a lot of traders are expecting a rate cut and there will be bursts of selling and short-panick around

A rate cut may occur this week for Australian dollar
There is chatter in the markets of a rate cut this week in Australia
This would bring the Aud down from the 0.78 resistance area where it started yesterday at market open,
and towards preferred target for BOA around 0.75
Technically, there also is reason to buy Eur/Aud as it has a tweezer bottom on the charts
so I am long there -- SL below 1.43
I am also short Aud/Usd, as the rate cut could happen tomorrow,
anticipation may send the pair lower…
