Мои недвние проблемы со здоровьем стали весомой причиной появления на моих полках трех новых книг. Я хочу рассказать об одной из них, последней. Если я чувствую что книга "не мое", я никогда не дочитываю ее до конца. Все, что дочитаны - мои любимые автоматически, и самой крутой я всегда называю последнюю из прочитаных. Возможно, под влиянием еще не остывших эмоций к ней, возможно потому, что свою по-настоящему любимую книгу я еще не нашла (возможно ее еще и не написали...).

Favorite book!

My favorite books are changing as time goes by.
At the moment I’m not reading, because I have a lot of study materials to read. But last book which caught my mind was Kahlil Gibran „The Prophet”. There is written about general things in life. I red this book in latvian, and I just „eat ” it in one moment.

I am sure that reading really plays a very important role in our life. As for me I try to read books every day. I don`t exactly remember when I began to read. Perhaps I was three or four years old. Один из самых любимых моих писателей. Про собак в творчестве Джека Лондона очень много сказано. Интересен например рассказ "Меченый" про очень шкодливую собаку, от которой никак не могли избавиться золотоискатели.))

Honestly, I read lot of books. Not more than my mum or grandma, but still a lot for my generation.
I have one specific feature - if I like the book that I had read, I am trying to read as much books that were written by that author as I can find. So I read all books written by Paulo Coelho, Several books - Ernest Hemingway; I like how does Haruki Murakami describes people, their actions, their lives, their histories. It's just amazing!!! Also I read a lot of Russian classics.

The hat or the snake - what do YOU see?

And how about being childish a bit? How many of you have fallen in love with the Little Prince?
The first time I saw it, I was 7 years old. The picture that stayed in my mind - the hat, or the snake that ate an elephant. It shows how different point of view we may all have. Then I read it numerous times, and then I read it in French, which was a whole new experience.

Нет, не подумайте, что я из числа вундеркиндов, которая могла прочитать всю его коллекцию (она была достаточно большой даже для взрослого человека), и запомнить все наизусть. Просто я часто перебирала их, чтоб рассмотреть картинки на обложках.
