Should You Really Take 10,000 Steps a Day?

10,000 steps a day?
Before this marathon, I never heard of that concept.
I've always known that walking a mile or two daily can be beneficial for your health.
So I did some research behind the idea...
So basically it comes down to burning fat.
10,000 steps a day for a week could result in losing a pound a week.
While walking improves physical and psychological well-being, one shouldn't be misled by the idea that walking alone shall lead to weight loss. The calories burned should be greater then …

Good information, I do break the 10000 steps into several breaks and make alignment  with my directions to work, home etc not using the car

Summary of the Marathon till now...

Hello there!
Yesterday I missed a day posting...
But not entirely my fault...for some reason I couldn't write my daily blog. Could select the tasks, but couldn't write...
I thought it was due to bad internet connection, I would try again later.
But then I got ANGRY because The Donald talked down the dollar!

One week later...

Hello there!
We are at day 7(my god time does fly) and someone like me who doesn't regularly do physical exercise, does have a hard time keeping up with it all. Is not impossible, but a bit hard...
Did the usual morning routine, warm water. Added some multi vitamin pills to the diet for some extra energy boost.
I cut the coffee from 4 cups a day to 2, so I need to get my energy from somewhere
One time instead of sugar I put salt in my coffee haha

Sodium Glutamate...What?

I shall quote the internet on this one:

Day 4 will be the most challenging (for now)!

Good-day!
As I've stated, yesterday would be my kinda off day in terms of physical work.
Less movement
Going up to 4 days and I haven't walked 10000 steps for the day?!
Wow am I that lazy... mmmmhhh I don't think so, because half the time when I go to check work on the floor I leave my phone in the office. So yeah...
I slept early yesterday, so today I am feeling very alive. Got a good night sleep!
On a side note, when drinking a lot of water, I pee a lot. Like really really really really a lot…

That Burning sensation when you muscle wakes up!

Good morning!
At least over here it's still morning
Today was a rainy day, so couldn't run.
I couldn't do much of the exercises because my muscles are burning!
Yes, they were asleep and now awake
So kind of a Rest day today...
Warm water with a few drops of Apple vinegar today.
It's good for cleansing of the inside.
I slept just for hours last night, couldn't sleep.

I am really a couch potato!

Goodmorning!
So,
Woke up early, did ten reps and 3 sets of some ab workout and push-ups.
Started to go jogging and after 400 meters I got that burning sensation in my chest!
I really am not in shape man!
Just walked for the rest of the way
I have totally lost it...
What an couch potato I am!
Walked a bit more today, so yeah!
I don't know how accurate these apps are, But Yesterday i didn't reach the daily 10000 steps..only 6781...

So I need to drink less Coffee??

I do have to admit... I drink a lot of coffee per day.
Usually 4 - 5 cups a day...
Already had my first for the day
So as of today I'll try and drink warm water more frequently when i'm at work.
The dispenser with warm water is in the next building, because the one where I sit is broken.
So that will increase my steps count

D-Marathon day 1

Gooodmorning!
So yesterday I saw this marathon Post and i thought 'what an great idea! I want to lose some weight so why not start now and try and earn some tjatjing!'
So I downloaded an app to keep track of my progress.
I hope it's accurate
The plan;
wake up early, go for an early walk and do some basic exercises at home before going to work!
Woke up a bit late today, but managed to do some.
