Back in the top 10

I have been able to get back in the top 10 in the traders contest
I had left my EurJpy, NzdJpy and CadJpy longs in over the weekend,
they opened flat but margin on my account was down to 50% again
and I was able to open my GbpJpy and AudJpy longs again that I had to close Friday due to margin requirements
This morning I have made a profit of around 80K and I am closing my positions
I am back in the top 10 of the contest again - at 8th place
I will be looking for an opportunity to make a few more…

Making some money without the USD

I was long Nzd/Jpy, Cad/Jpy, and Aud/Jpy today, and made about 50K
Usd/Jpy hardly moved with all the data today - Eur was hit hard,
and Eur weakness affected Chf too,
so, this time it was the right call to go for the minor currencies,
and especially Aud and Cad performed well today
I am now long Gbp/Usd with a tight SL just above major support area (in theory at least) around 1.635,
and long Nzd/Usd because of the nice setup if 0.83 support holds;

USD/JPY looks to go only one way

Usd/Jpy longs are the trade of the day today, and there is no way this trade can fail - that is nice for once
Usd strength and economic recovery has turned things around for Usd,
while the bad data and weaker economic outlook from japan has created a weaker Jpy
Now Usd/Jpy has returned to previous highs and will break these for sure

USD:JPY strength supports all JPY crosses

It seems clear now what traders are doing on the forex market
Usd is the only major currency that is being bought at the moment
and Eur, GBP, Jpy, Aud, and Nzd are being sold against the dollar
My Nzd_Jpy long did well last week only because Usd_Jpy gained
almost 130 pips
Of this currencies strength continues next week
We will see Usd-Jpy break previous weekly highs
And be on the way to 110
I will be looking to buy as much jpy crosses as I can
