Sterling eased against the US dollar during yesterday's session. The fall was stopped by the 1.28 level.
On Friday morning European session, the exchange rate is recovering and establishing a foothold within the 1.2830/40 area, where the weekly R1 (1.2833) is located at.
Resistance is now offered by the 100-hour SMA (1.2846), followed by the upper boundary of the hourly Bollinger bands (1.2858) and then by the 55-hour SMA (1.2870).

Sterling is easing against the US dollar on Thursday morning European session.
The exchange rate trades at 0655 near the 1.2870 area, squeezed between the 20-hour SMA (1.2902) and the lower boundary of the hourly Bollinger bands (1.2862).
If the previous mentioned level, 1.2862, fails to provide support, the fall may be likely hindered at the weekly R1 (1.2833). Below there, the 100-hour SMA stands at 1.2820.

Sterling rose yesterday against the US dollar. On Wednesday morning, the exchange rate is consolidating gains near the 1.29 area at 0650 UTC.
If the rise persists during today's session, the next target may lie on the upper boundary of the hourly Bollinger bands located at 1.2945. The lower boundary stands at 1.12833, which is also reinforced by the weekly R1.
The weekly R2 stands at 1.2913 and close to yesterday's high at 1.2925.
