Cable steady into the U.K. election

Cable was not scared by terrorists and, after a minor gap lower on Monday, so far rose in each day of the week. U.K. parliamentary election voting is already unfolding with first exit polls expected at 21:00 GMT. Results will start to trickle in soon after that and the outcome should be known by Friday morning.
The pair appears to have been positioning for a Conservatives (P.M. May) victory which is likely to see a relief rally. 1.30 is the initial resistance and the next one into 1.3050. 1.2880…

Cable ends up higher after UK election and NFP

Cable gapped up when UK election exit polls were released at 21:00 GMT yesterday, the hour which marks the start of the new (US session close based) daily candle. The pullback was quickly bought and the pair continued higher overnight as results were trickling in and confirming exit polls. It was unable to decisively break above 1.55 and subsequently sold off to 1.54 before NFP report.
