New Dukascopy trading platform is available for public test

I've got excellent and really hot news. Just from the cooking ovens of Dukascopy, please welcome Jforex 4.
Jforex 4 Developer Preview is available for downloading and playing around. Community members that are reading my blog have a unique opportunity to take a look at it before the official announcement. We believe this is something that has a chance to become the new industry standard.
Give it a try yourself and try to compare with anything out there in the market.

Jforex4 will go LIVE at some point. Unfortunately we have faced new problems, which are going to postpone  it. In a meantime, expect new version 4.08 out on DEMO soon with Renko calculation changed according to Steve Nison's theory.

Jofrex 4 8.0 is out. They changed the way time is displayed on the bottom of the chart. Before, time increments    displayed matched the chart time frame. So on a 15 minute chart, the time on the bottom would increment by 15, for example, as you move your cursor on the candles you would see 10:00, 10:15, 10:30, etc. Now it increments by 1 minute increments. It is so distracting and hard to use. Current Jforex does not do this.

Why is it that charting on Jforex 4 on weekends does not work? Just because the market is closed? Candles appear sometimes, sometimes they don´t, lots of blanck charts.

I have proposal for popularity points calculation. I would suggest to convert likes to points based on person, who put like, reputation points. For example if like is put by person who have reputation points >15.000 such like will be converted to 5 points, >10.000 - 3 points, >5.000 - 2 points, <5000 - 1 point. Such calculation will decrease weight of "fake" likes (of course they are monitored but such scoring system would discourage to use "fake" likes) from one hand and new attracted members of DK community will be "pushed" to be more active in order to support girls more from another hand.

That's a nice proposal :) As soon as reputation points are reborn into new essence, you will see something very similar to what you've just recommended.

many sites of other kind have 'Achievements' for top commentators, contributors, awards or something like that. of course I know many comments are worthless but it takes an effort to say 'good job' rather than doing nothing. overall activity in participating in community's life may differ some people from others

Hm, I'm having some view that looks like a mobile version, then I switch to desktop view to see notifications, messages... maybe I should send a screenshot :P

Congratulations what you have achieved!
On the other side it would be nice if you could put in more energy to improve the stability of the JForex platform and its environment. It still has plenty of bugs! I rather would like to have a stable platform than another social contest. If you even want to deploy a new version, please deploy a Beta first. Do not just change and launch a new Demo version. Keep Demo and Live as close as possible. Please rather stabilize your platform than always implement more features. Demo Users, live customers and developers will thank you for that.
