Citizenship is not equal to nationality and I have friends to prove it :D Moreover, you're paradoxically discussing it on this site.
Born in Croatia, studied in Austria and Czech Republic, got his first job in Hungary, then France and the US. Actually, spent 2/3 of his life outside the country he was born in. The former Yugoslav government was giving him a small pension... and as far as I know, he called himself a cosmopolitan.
And still, he died all alone and poor in a hotel room in New York. Who's willing to admit that as a national disgrace together with all of his success?

@Erialda - I don't know the name of heart island, but I have to tell you that Croatia have 1244 islands. Can you imagine? really woow!!! :)))

@alltrade - yes, couples visit this heart island, only by boat or speedboat. But there is no such a beaches. And btw, island is protected!
