Article Contest Prizes Awarded for June

I have a question concerning the results of the Article Contest.
I took 9th place in the June contest period and have been awarded 200 USD. I would like to ask how the prize was calculated. It is stated on the Article Contest webpage that the prize (as I understand these are the prizes before the increase in July) for 9th place is 500 USD which is adjusted accordingly to the number of participants with the minimum amounting to 50%- thus, 250 USD. Yes, I think that when they give the standing that's among the number of articles and it differs from the number of participants. But it would be good to recieve some explanation:)

WallStreet6 I totally agree, the rules states that calculation is based on number of "USERS", that month 99 users had participated, you can check it from the Standings/Month/Users. So, a quick answer, no I don't know why they don't follow their stated rules. Applying their rules, I should get 5000 instead. I know its not the money its the principle on its own. I agree 100%

Nihad Yes, in your case the difference is much larger. The ranking stated x/77, so I figure there were 77 articles and less participants. But they should say something, give some expanation. And they didn't raise the prizes in July as they stated.

The rules state USERS, see the picture above. They don't have to say anything, they are supposed to stick to the RULES in the RULES page. If they wanna change it they should:
1-Amend the RULES page at the BEGINNING of a new contest period and not during it.
2-Notify all the contestants in the news page, again,at the beginning of a contest period.
3-Stick to their own rules.
I stopped querying about anything here, its a waste of time, was busy the last two weeks taking advantage and making money out of China's Dev and the FX war between the centrals :))))))

The only response I got was the above, but I think you're right that any it's useless to get nay explanation here.
Totally agree that they should stick to the rules, afterall that's what they are for and binding for both sides!
