This is the second day, and I am happy to announce I am still standing strong. The contest is a personal challenge, so I am doing all I can to make it work.

LIFESTYLE

The lifestyle changes I have made have gotten some very funny reactions from my friends and family. First of all, some people seem to like the new look, especially the appearance change. I now understand how important our outfits can be; a good suit will open several doors for you.

I am now making several calls; to make this work I have adjusted my phone plan to use the most cost-effective call tariffs. This means I can make much calls and pay less, and some of my friends are thrilled about this, especially the ladies.
I am still on active on my Facebook, Instagram and Twitter account, but only though my home desktop. Restricting my social media time to 1.5 hours a day was harder than I thought. A lot of times, I am reaching for my phone to check those apps,

then I remember that I uninstalled them. It is the biggest adjustment so far.

FOOD

I am also planning out my meals in advance, since I have to be particular about what I am eating. This morning, I got things started with a glass of orange juice, freshly-squeezed of cos. Then I discovered something truly exceptional, throw in some slices of orange or lemon in a cold glass of water, and the drink is totally refreshing.
This makes drinking water much more enjoyable. Alcohol is still off the menu, and all fast food purchases have been cancelled.

For dinner, I am working on a Pineapple and Pawpaw combo. A big bowl of diced Pineapple and pawpaw to round up the day. This fruit diet is not always enough, like I noticed last night. So I have some apples on standby, just in case I start to feel the munchies.

SPORT

I did the 10000 steps today, and my muscles are starting to scream. This is another heavy adjustment, normally I do some running a few times a week. But doing this every day is a big step up. I have decided to pace myself and not always do it all in one run, sometimes I run, sometimes I do a fast walk. I read somewhere that the first few days are the worse, as the body feels the initial strain. I also like to do some pre-run stretches before the run, just to loosen up my limbs before the run.

This amount of running coupled with a Crossfit routine requires a lot of steady hydration and decent meals.

And below is me completing the 3 sets of sit-ups. I wonder just how buff I will look after all these.
