National dress is a kind of chronicle of the historical development and artistic creativity of the people. In this point of view TARAZ (Armenian National Costume) is a unique sample of Armenian culture!

Here I want to share 2 interesting facts , which impressed me the most
1. Armenian taraz is loose garment in style with grooves in front and by sides, in which the colors of 4 elements dominate`
purple - symbol of wisdom,
red – symbol of bravery,
blue – symbol of heavenly justice
white - symbol of prudence.

2.The other interesting fact is that by the color and form of taraz it was possible to guess whether the person is married or not, how many children he/she has and the similar, which made the role of taraz much more important in Armenian lifestyle.
