Many people have been asking me do I get any tattoos. I was wondering do I look like a wild girl who would have a tattoo. Actually, I do have a thought to do one when I was young. But my mum would definitely kill me if I really do so. So I just leave it. Even now I grew up. I have a say, I still need to consider it carefully. Since it is not a common practice in Hong Kong. Maybe in the West, people will find it just a kind of body act. But in Hong Kong, even a modern city, most of our mind are still conservative and believe that having tattoos must be gangsters, triad members, bad guys or girls. If I do the tattoos in some obvious part of my body such as arm or leg, I think I have no chance to be recruited during a job interview!! I don’t want to take risk or regret about it. So I won’t do it at this stage. But maybe later.

And for piercings, OMG.. I used to be a piercing freak! I used to have 13 ear piercings, a tummy piercing and a tongue piercing. It were all done at my age of 14,15 probably. I was a bit rebellious at that moment and find it so trendy. And I also enjoy the moment of being pierced (it hurt but I got the excitement). I knew there are some people get addicted to body piercing because they enjoy the pain! It's rather crazy, isn't it?

But now, I will never do it. When I flash back, I find this memory horrible. I don’t even want people know I used to be such a quirky girl. I removed 11 ear piercings (leave the 2 on the earlobes), tummy and a tongue piercing. I think I should be an elegant lady instead of a punk and rocky girl. So, it is my choice. I don’t even often wear ear-rings now, I believe “Less is more”. I still look great without any accessories, right?

Final remind: Just kindly be noticed that if the tools used for tattoos and piercings are not well handled and disinfected, you may stand a great chance getting Hepatitis B. Therefore, just think twice before doing so.
