I shall quote the internet on this one:
"Glutamate is a natural amino acid found in foods containing protein, like milk, mushrooms and fish. Monosodium glutamate (MSG), manufactured with only the sodium salt of glutamate, is designed to be a flavor enhancer and is found in many foods. However, clever labeling practices and deceptions serve to camouflage its presence."
What?!
So that's why I'm always craving that Pizza and Mc Donald's...
Bad bad bad people making us addicts only to make money...

Well to be honest it will be an easy task to avoid these stuff.
Basically all these stuff are imported in my country and we are going through a rough economical crisis, so less money to spend on these stuff
A basic meal consist of:
Rice, meat and vegetables.
So in my case I need to focus on how much carbohydrates, fat, sugar and salt I consume.
Most fish, poultry and meat types doesn't contain carbohydrates like:
Fish:
Codfish
Halibut
Herring
salmon
sardines

Poultry:
Chicken
Turkey
Duck

Meat:
Beef
Pork
Lamb

Rice contains carbohydrates, so smaller portions.
It's really our culture that you eat rice as a main meal, sometimes I try to go days without eating rice.
(I remember my niece visiting from the Netherlands asking why we always eat rice, sometimes 3 times a day. "No wonder a lot of Surinamers are fat" she said)
Substitute it with potato's or cassava, but I always crave for that rice.
Maybe that's the challenge?
But potato's more expensive then rice...

.....hhhmmmmm...

I think I'll focus more on physical exercise
