So,
I’m about to write this final post in 2013 describing my final day 6 in Geneva! It’s very little time left to finish all works of 2013! I still need to make my plan for 2014, write it point by point, so I’m finalizing 2013 with this.
Day 6 was all about me and the city! I packed some of my prize in this big case and did my check out in the hotel – I will miss you dear Four Season hotel!

Something didn’t have enough space to fit in, so this will arrive to me later
Final photo in the hotel – almost ready to go!

Our main destination that day was to try best Fond Du in the city and we have found it!

For those who doesn’t know what’s Fond Du (I’m sure there won’t be many of you) – it’s hot cheese with some additional ingredients like mushrooms and meat which can be eaten with small pieces of bread or baby potatoes.
It is VERY delicious but also very filling, even FATTY I would say I wouldn’t recommend to have this dish more often than once-twice in a month if only you don’t want to put on weight!

Anyway – we were really hungry and didn’t know our limit, so of course we ordered too much! We could not eat even half of it and by we I mean 4 really hungry girls
I made a photo of traditional recipe – I’d love to try this at home one day!

Look how big is the portion for 2!! Do you think you could eat it all?

Another traditional dish is Swiss dried meat. Very tasty, once you started – you can’t stop!

After very heavy lunch we went for a walk to see the old city.
Water in Geneva is incredibly clean! People saying that you can actually drink water from the river without any doubts of bacteria! I could not believe that until I saw how clean it is, look:

There are also drinking fountains all over the city, I have tried this water and it was really good (well, at least I’m still alive )

By the way, no one is throwing any coins in these fountains, I was good girl and didn’t do it either

Some examples of Geneva’s architecture and cultural values – mosaic and Grand Theatre.

Coffee, I need coffee! It’s good to try something local, but it is also really good to have something habitual, like Starbucks for example

Then we found a park with attractions and that’s where fun has begun!

I really wanted to give a try in chooting-range, and I got this as a prize, haha...

…but really I’d like to win this!!! Not fair!

Finally we've tried this crazy ride! Last time I did it I think I was about 12 years old I forgot how fun it is!

The next thing I know – I’m in the airport waiting for my plane! Time run so quickly, especially in such great company of Dukascopy girls from Riga and Geneva!

It was business flight lounge where food and drinks are for free, very nice and relaxing area. I missed my home so much but I had all this great experience with me in my heart, so perfect moment to go home.

I just want to say thank you to everybody who was there with me – Masha, Ketija, Elena, Vova, Andrey, Sasha and Evgenij from TV crew and many many other lovely people who was doing this trip amazing and so spectacular!

Hope to see you all again one day

So dear readers, I hope you enjoyed my story.
Be lucky, be happy, be loved and love others!

Here I want to say goodbye and see you all next year!!!
Ciao! Xxxx
