To the north of Fort Bragg town is marvelous California Glass Beach in the park called MakKerricher.
And it was all so is ... In the first half of the twentieth century, on this coast there was a large public dump. Residents can easily get rid of their rubbish, bringing all their garbage here, on the California beach.
Gradually piles of garbage grew, it seemed that this area is "already hopeless."
But in the early sixties, the city authorities banned the garbage to throw off here.
After some time, they began to clear the coast of California from the trash that has accumulated over twenty years! Of course, the bulky old TV sets, cars, all kinds of equipment were transported immediately! It would seem that after a long work beach was cleaned up! But ... there were much broken glass that nobody considered for a problem!
At that moment the ocean has decided to help "careless people." Ocean water carefully and "anxious" smoothed the sharp ends of broken glass. And six months later, sharp pieces turned into neat multicolored pebbles.
