I have been already living in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, for several years. But I also have a small homeland, which I often visit with a great pleasure. It is Slonim. My homeland has magnificent architecture, pure nature and cheerful people.
The History of Slonim was very exciting. Earlier on a famous Agin Theatre or as it was usually called marshy Athens that was very famous in Europe was situated here. The Playground allowed to carry out performances with the participation of several barges on the river, but today - it seemed unimaginable!
My homeland is also called the Baroque city. The architectural monuments of 16-17 centuries are still survived here. For example, we have Slonim synagogue and several churches, as well as one of the main attractions - Zhirovichi monastery. It is rich on sacred springs, a very beautiful church and panoramic views. Every year it attract pilgrims and tourists from all over the world.
