The city of Plovdiv situated in southern Bul
garia is considered one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe and the world.
The ancient theatre.
The Roman theatre, also known as the Amphitheatre, was built under the reign of emperor Trajan in the 2nd century. It holds around 7.000 seats in different sections named after the city sections with the names engraved on the benches to guide the citizens where to sit. The theatre was sadly damaged by Attila the Hun in the 5th century.
It is used for performances of many kinds during the summer months.
Ulitsa Knyaz Aleksandr
Ulitsa Knyaz Aleksandr is the main pedestrian street of Plovdiv. It is always full of people going up and down, it is actually a street that people visit to check the upscale clothing stores, socializing, drinking coffee at the outdoor café etc

Not much is known about the Roman Odeon more than it was built and extended in the 2nd to the 5th centuries and had a capacity of only 350-400 spectators.
My favourite reastaurant Hemingway
It's a nice place both suitable for business and family meetings though at night it could become a bit noisy with the live music. Food is really nice and I would recommend the fish specialties. In addition, the location is in the heart of the city
Dolce Fellini Pasticceria & Gelateria
The place is like a fairytale. An Italian one. Fellini's one. All the traditional Italian desserts prepared here, artesian ice cream, cocktail sandwiches and great Espresso. The atmosphere is fantastic, the desserts to die for and coffee is excellent
