Just a quick story.

Recently I have been staying in the university for surfing internet (my network is down at home, already 2 weeks passed… ), and I will ask some students if they are willing to download Dukascopy Connect. Luckily most of them are nice and just do so.

What really surprised is, I met two girl in a row few days ago. They were not only willing to download the app, they also invited their friends to help. One of which even summoned most of her friends on her contact list, some are in other countries, to offer me help. I asked them why they did all these for me, we are not even friends. They said just downloading an app, not a big deal. If it helps you with your contest, I will be happy and feel glad. Oh my god, some people are just simply so kind and help you without asking any returns.

But today, I encountered a setback. I met a girl in library and asked (begged) her to download the app. She doubted about my purpose, and rejected me after my detailed explanation. She replied: it is your own business, has nothing to do with me, why I have to help you? You can ask your friends and somebody around, I can’t help.

I was so shocked. Maybe I expected too much and thought like it’s not a difficult task, everyone should be willing to help. Actually, there is always an exception. I started to realize that no one on earth is liable to offer you help. For those who helped you without questioning you, they were just too kind and you definitely have to show the gratitude. For those who rejected you, they did nothing wrong, since you two are just strangers. So don’t needa take it to heart.

Just before I left the library, I unplugged the LAN wire connecting to the Uni desktop that she is using. This is the end of the story.
