I truly believe, I am the luckiest person in the world! The reason for that is that I am still pretty young, but I already had so many amazing events in my life, that not every adult could say he had as much for his whole life.
I was born in Moscow, Russia. Since the age of 2 I was traveling all around the globe! My first trip was to South Africa and since then I have never stopped traveling!
When I was 4 years old, my mother brought me to the ice rink and I liked it so much, that I decided that this should be my major goal in life! I practiced every day in the CSKA ice rink in Moscow. It was very hard for a child to combine school and sports, but i managed and in 10 years I became the Novice Russian Champion, the Novice European Champion, the Silver Junior Russian Medalist and was in the Senior ( the main) Russian team. Due to my results I got the "Master of Sports" award, but all of a sudden, unexpected difficulties rushed into my life.
I had a very difficult injury on my leg...The bone started to die, because of too much work-out. I was terrified, I did not know what would I do and even how would I live without figure skating?! Two operations were made on right foot. I have spent 2 long difficult years to recover from this operations and now the only thing that I have that reminds me of these operations is a tiny scar on my right foot.
The reason why I did not quit after such injury was my incredible desire to skate! The flow in the skates, the dance on the music, the adrenaline, the strength and, of course, the beauty made me dream about becoming a well-known skater.
During my skating career I visited so many different countries, as had so many competitions and shows around the world: China, Ukrane, Poland, Hungary, Netherlands, Mauritius, Dubai, Israel, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, and then, all over sudden, destiny brought me to Switzerland...
My family had to move to the country of cheese, watch, banks and chocolate due to some events that happened in our family. I wrote a letter to Mr. Grutter, one of the best coaches in the world, who works in Geneva, Switzerland. He was the coach of such famous people, as Stephan Lambiel and Samuel Contesti. There was no limit of my happiness, when I fond out that Mr. Grutter decided to accept me and was ready to work with me. From then on, I have never left him. I was so grateful for him! He gave me a second chance in my skating career.
Since Swiss Figure Skating Federation accepted me, I compete for Switzerland! This is an amazing opportunity for me! This season I became a Swiss National Champion and took part in the World Championship, that took place in Saitama, Japan. Japan was an incredible place and I got an immense experience there! After the competitions of such a level, I feel myself more confident on the ice and in life, as I am one of these people, who will reach their goal choosing fair ways, but fighting to death.
Today I am not even over 20 years old, and I know that my life has "just started", but I am so grateful to God that I already have a job and a great experience to continue a happy and successful life.
