OMG! This is my subject! I feel like country-by-country the term “weird hobby” is so extremely different. In Russia, if you participate in Miss Russia it's a perfectly normal thing to do. In big pageant countries, girls die for getting involved in pageants and this is considered a cool hobby. When I won Miss Estonia all people I knew freaked out. Basically, there where no person who didn’t think my new “hobby” wasn’t weird. I was considered unicorn since then. I was automatically taken as a princess who lives in a fairy-tale castle and eats candy-cotton every day. Because that’s exactly what this kind of hobby does to you. And did I mention I was also unicorn? This literally made me into a unicorn. Then I started dealing with my next hobby and that lead me to a job in TV as a weather girl. I took it as a hobby cause it’s this fun summer activity, we record it at the beach in bikinis during most of the summer. Then I was definitely double horned unicorn with elephant ears or something. Everywhere I went, if someone found out what I a was doing they just couldn’t hide their shock in their face. So if the time I am not unicorning, I am a pretty average person in the average world doing average things. Have a great spring, people!
