Speaking of dreams, we can all agree that to make our dreams come true is our life finest breakthrough. Who doesn't want to dream big? Of course none of us, because dreaming big is a part of our life journey that each in every one of us are willing to happen. Whether it is a fly by dreams like winning a lotto, short term dreams like to be with our crush just in a day, long term dreams like to be a CEO of Microsoft Company or child hood dreams like to enjoy all the cookies in the cookie jar. Well, these are all dreams we can consider and we are all determined to find ways on how we can make it real, either it is by hook or by crook. Dreams in short then, allows us to ignite the passion of determination and pursuance no matter how tough the going we may face while achieving this.
In terms of sharing you my dreams, there are dreams that some of them were already tagged check in my dreams list but still some of them where I'm praying to happen. I always believe that dreams goes together with the seasons of life, It has its own fullness under the seasons of heaven. We may all have ways of the world to make it to happen but still God determined the right season to when we will enjoy our dreams.
One of my dream to happen is to be a life coach teacher. We all understand that the mediocrity of a teacher is not an easy task to deal with and each of us has our own definition to what a great teacher is. Wether in personality, attitude, behavior, demeanor, methodology and wisdom we can put inventory on these factors on what really a teacher is. What my great teacher told me before is, if a person is well trained then he can go on teaching. Anyone of us can be a teacher in our own expertise, what a great privileged to know that we can easily be a life contributor in the empty slates of every learners.
Considering all of those qualifying factors are essentials but let me add further on what it is to be a great teacher. For me, you need to have a limitless patience and a burning desire to handle life complexity in order you can make a difference to the life of others. A teacher is person of adversity, where he or she can withstand all weather in life and being a teacher is not just by expertise but serving others and loving his passion at the same time.
Maybe this is the first time you heard about a life coach teacher dream but I tell you this is like when you are planting a mustard seed to someones pot of heart and reaping a flood of fruits someday where you may have no room enough to store it. That can be sound metaphor but I tell you the fruit of labor is truly an unspeakable joy.
Life coach teacher is not just like mediocre teacher, who comes in and out in the 4 corners of classroom, feeding information to your students and asking them to digest the discussion. That sounds pretty conventional, isn't it?
Life coach teacher is a teacher of accountability to the life of an individual, I consider this is as one of my biggest dream in the field of teaching because this is not an easy level of a teaching endeavor that you can reach right easily. I have been imparting ideas according to my own knowledge and experience in the core of teaching for the past few years wether in church or at school but one thing i miss the mark of a true teacher is on how you create a life by what you give. Someone wise once said, “We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.” We don't only give out our ideas but our time, effort, availability and coaching to students, young professionals or even our children whenever we have a time to be with them. In this way when we go beyond our limits being a life coach teacher, we can create an atmosphere of trust and strong foundation of relationship to an individual.
I am confident that one day I can reach this peak level of my teaching passion. Something that I can be boast to my kids that by making a difference to the life of others by sharing values, realizing faith views and showing core trust creates another life. In God I trust that I can be a world changer once I reach this pinnacle of success of being a Life coach teacher, that every nation and every tribe will know that there can be more than a role of teacher to every school that we can go beyond spending our time to our learners, whenever they are on a football game, basketball tournament, or baseball match that we will be with them cheering them up, encouraging them if others can't give. Even if no one would care to listen them whenever they have problem, or even their family is not available to share their success, yes we can be with them coaching them that there is far more life living today that they can tap on us as a life coach teacher 24/7.
I go beyond achieving material goals even if this dreams of mine may not incur trophy or medal in the end of finish line, as long as every teacher would realize that on teaching field they can do better than what they normally do in the lives of the learners.
So we have already the passion in teaching on how to be an effective teacher but that passion of teaching doesn't remain in our heart and it may not be enough and it need to accompany strength to do things possibly in influencing the life of others. Life coach teacher is what every teachers need to do and this is one of my biggest dream to happen.
