I live by dancing every day. I love it so much that I studied it at university. My goal in life is to become a Bollywood actress. Since I have achieved the best dancing skills all I have left to master is acting and singing. There are ways to learn singing through websites but acting is more practical and is better learned through workshops. Acting master classes are very expensive therefore when I win Miss Dikascopy I will chose to study acting.
Since primary school it was my favourite subject and I thought I was the Queen of acting. However my confidence was crushed when I recieved a B instead of an A in year 7. I was already a shy girl in high school but this situation made me feel insecure about acting and since then I was sure I would never be good enough at acting. Of course I still tried my best and throughout high-school I slowly improved my skills. I felt I did much better when I acted with the best students in the class. Their excellent skills pushed me to act better and I learned the most from them rather than the teacher. For my final exam I was lucky to be put in a group of children who were mostly really good in drama. My mother helped me with my monologue and in the end I got my A which I always wanted in drama. Since then I studied performing arts in college and have used my acting skills in my dancing during university and for my dance choreographies after.
I graduated with a First in Dance BA and had a really lovely graduation. We took fabulous photos but there was a photo idea which I forgot to fulfil. So as well as thoroughly enjoying studying acting in the future I also really look forward to dressing up in graduation gear. Here are a few photo memories of my graduation:
I would love to improve my acting and be as good in acting as in dance.
One of my best friends is an actress and she studied at Oxford Drama School. I have seen her plays a few times and the acting standard is excellent. Therefore I think Oxford Drama School will be the best place for me to study when I win Miss Dukascopy contest.
