Today was a good day, an awesome day actually. We just rounded up a project in the office which has been on for some weeks, and it was a big relief to finally conclude on it. There was a mention of going out to get some drinks and barbecue, but I had to tactfully decline. Alcohol is still off the menu, at least for another ten days or so.

I am considering incorporating some of the marathon changes even after the contest, living healthy has some very good long term
dividends.

On the sports scene, I am still in the process of building that six pack, and it is going very smoothly. I was able to do my early morning run, and accomplished the 10,000 steps target for the day.

Next were the sit-ups and cross-fit routine. This is really helping building my upper muscles and general torso area. At the end of the contest, I will do a video to show final results.

In line with contest obligations, I have been monitoring water intake, to make sure I have at least two liters everyday. Most days, I find myself taking more than two liters. I have also started adding a slice of lime or orange into the glasses of water to give a certain fruity and refreshing feeling.

Alcohol is still off the menu; no beer or hard liquor, or any alcoholic beverages. I have also added carbonated and processed drinks to that list. I have decided to do fresh fruits instead, and supplement with water. This part has required a small budget, but it has been every bit worth it.

For breakfast, i had some slices of toast bread and some tea. I had to dash out in a hurry, so there was really no time for n elaborate meal. Lunch was a tasty plate of Spaghetti and fresh tomato sauce, while dinner is a bowl of sliced pawpaw and pineapples.

The biggest lifestyle changes I have made during this period was to stick to a punk-ish hair style and upgrade my general appearance. In stead of casual wears, I have been going with the corporate look. This has earned me some very good compliments, so it is true, "dress the way you want to be dressed."

My social media time for today is still less than 30 minutes, after dinner I will relax and catch on all I have missed all day. This is still restricted to an hour, and the applications off my phone has helped curb any temptations. It has freed up more time for me to work effectively, and helped me value the importance of phone calls and verbal communication.
