Sport is a great power which helps us to be in shape, to feel better and to be healthy. It doesn't matter what kind of sport - every of us choose some kind, which we like the most and which fits to us the most. My first sport began 35 years ago - it happened far away from home - in Eupatorija (Ukraina, Crimea). I was on holiday with my grandmother - she met group of people there who practiced Yoga every morning on the beach. My grand mother and me, joined to them and during our whole vacation ( about 21 days) we've got up very early every morning ( at 5 or at 6 a clock) and trained Yoga too And after that vacations, when I came back home, I was able to do many interesting and quite difficult exercises I don't know if anybody remember, but many years ago there was a morning exercises TV program on Russia TV, which started very early in the morning ( at 6 or 7 a clock). I got up every day, turned on TV and did that exercises alone even on Saturday and on Sunday, when my parrents were sleeping, I did it all the same. After two years, when I went to first class, I sto
pped to do that When I was a little girl, I've had a dream to become a good figure skater, like legendary Russian Irina Rodnina - She was my favorite. But that my dream didn't come true. Figure skating was not developed as well in Lithuania, there wasn't even good skating rink . So my dream limited to skating only in winter time and only in skating rinks, which were flooded in a yards and I remembered how I was waiting figure skates from Santa Clause ( it had certainly to be Botas with 5 stars on the side )Time passed, everything changed and presently we have some good skating rinks and I love to skating there from time to time. For some time I even learned with a trainer basic steps and foundations of figure skating. So, sport is almost always in my life, even when I was in pregnancy, I've attended aqua aerobica and special gymnastics. I've tried some different sports - aerobica, swimming in a pool, for some years we have the whole year subscription in a gym, then even tried karting for some seasons , then I've began to attend Latin Dance and I fall in love with it It is a pity that I must to have a break now for health problem, but I hope that I will continue in autumn. In general, for some lasts year I prefer seasonal sports - in winter time - figure skating, Latin Dance, in other time - Latin Dance, bicycle, skates, walking along the sea ( 5-10 km ) or through the waves - the last one is really very healthy, tone up and gives a power for a whole day.
As I told at the beginning of this post, I dreamt to be a figure skater, thus this my dream didn't come true I like to see amazing show of this sport. Many year ago my favorites were Irina Rodnina & Alexander Zaitcev, Bestimjanova & Bukin, Katarina Witt. If you are also interesting in this sport, I invite you to see old, but amazing video.
