Yesterday ended the regatta "The Tall Ships Races 2013" in Riga, it takes place every 10 years And had more than 100 sailboats and yachts from 17 countries. During regatta you could get on them and see them from inside, while they were moored at the quay. Regatta which lasted from 25 to 28 July, was attended by about 1.5 million people from different countries. On July 28 Sunday morning, ships with sails were raised on the river Daugava in

Riga Gulf. Unfortunately, I could not get to the lighthouse to see them, as there was an incredible amount of wishings on the road and that make a huge traffic jam. But I still managed to run to the house to admire them from a 8 storey building.

Also on July 27 in Riga, on the occasion of the completion of the regatta was held chic salute which analogues in Riga wasn’t yet! Its a pity that the regatta is held so rare, but the wait is worth it!
