How to Motivate Yourself

I often ask this question from myself: "Why I tend to easily give up or have such resistance to make change for good?". There are many things to explain but one of the fundamental reason for heavy influence is often received from our surrounding environment and advertisements that record their message in our subconscious mind through TVs and news. The modern world offers most of the time fast thing like “fast food”, “fast fix”, “faster speed blah bla..”, “instant coffee” etc etc and advertises to get “lose-weight; or get remove the face wrinkles in 5 minutes without exercise and efforts. All this sounds too good to be true probably is, but the fact remains that many of us subconsciously drawn into the belief that we can have whatever we want and we can have it just NOW IMMEDIATELY.

But the reality is opposite of quick fix. “There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.

So we have to make choices and put some labor every day until the desired habit or goal becomes ours and need to begin laying the rock solid foundations. We must not forget that the potential to fail only exists because the potential to succeed also exists.

To summarize: If you are able to focus your thoughts on failure and create a mental image of what that failure will look like for you, you are also able to switch your thoughts to focus on success and create a mental image of what that success will look like for you. To visualize what or where to reach in our lives gives great motivation to continue the labor to achieve the results.
