SPORT

I had to get up really early today, after a long holiday it was time to get back to work. I did my morning run, a little over 8KM, which was more than enough to meet the 10,000 steps.

Then I did my cross-fit routine and the set of sit-ups. The last part had me panting heavily.

The sit-ups also went well, I got my kid brother as cameraman; and he caught it on film.

FOOD

For breakfast, I went with a bowl of cereal and two glasses of Freshly-squeezed orange juice. I enjoyed the juice a lot, it felt very refreshing after the run and work-out.

Lunch was a plate of boiled sweet potatoes and peanut stew, and a lot of water. Even though the weather was relatively cool today, I found myself drinking quite a lot of water. So far I have had five bottles, five 75Cl bottles of water. This means I will probably have about two more before the day is over.
Dinner is going to be some slices of Pawpaw, I have already bought a few and will have them diced and eaten soon enough. I am intentionally staying away from some hang-outs, No need going to places where I will have to refuse alcohol.

Then a quick fun fact; excess alcohol is actually very unhealthy and can lead to reduces liver function or total liver failure.

LIFESTYLE

With an hour and a half for my social media interactions, I have had to make that time count. Now, I pay attention to only relevant posts or information. Of cos, I also indulge in the funny videos every now and then.

But this time allocation has made me very conscious of how much time I spend on social media sites. I am still the "punk" at the office, with the hairstyle of the week.

In the coming days, I will be switching my outfits to traditional, in support of my African heritage and culture. It is definitely a demanding marathon, but I am having fun.
