Hello out there,

last night I was telling you about the excitement and fun I experinced when I was playing around the JForex API for the first time. Today I managed to write a little strategy. Definitely nothing fancy, but I was able to place an order with a stop-loss and a take-profit. You are probably much better in doing this, then I am - but there might be some folks out there, who struggle with all of that and are having a hard time to getting all the concepts in Java worked out.
Well, I ran my first strategy and BOOM - there it was. A huge disappointment. I truely thought I might have a least a little profit, but the strategy was burning money. Not in a fast pace, but nothing you want to try at home with your hard earned money.
So there it is, the continuation of the quest. Lets make this hole thing profitable. How I gonna do it? I don't know yet. First of all, I will have a close look, when the strategy buys and when it sells. I might find some improvements there.

Here is the report for the my very first attempt. Considering this, it is actually not that bad.
